2. These terms
By placing an order through ktsautos.com you accept these terms and conditions. We may update them from time to time — the version that applies to your order is the one published on this page on the date you place the order.
3. Used parts — sold as described
Every part we sell is used and recovered from a donor vehicle. We photograph each part before listing and describe its condition honestly. By placing an order you accept that the part:
- May show signs of normal wear consistent with its age and mileage.
- Is fitness-checked but not professionally refurbished unless explicitly stated.
- Should be inspected on arrival and before being fitted.
If a part is materially different from how we described it, you're entitled to a refund under our returns policy and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
4. Pricing
- All prices on ktsautos.com are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Shipping is calculated at checkout — see the shipping policy.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before we've dispatched the part. If a part is listed at a clearly mistaken price we'll contact you and either honour the order, refund it, or offer a corrected price — your choice.
5. How a contract is formed
When you place an order, you're making us an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we email you to confirm dispatch — not when payment is taken. Until that point we may decline an order for any reason (for example, if the part has just been sold elsewhere, or the shipping address is one we can't deliver to).
6. Payment
We accept payment by card via Stripe. Card details are never stored on our servers — Stripe handles the entire payment flow under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
7. Title and risk
Risk in the part passes to you when the courier delivers it to the address you provided. Title (legal ownership) passes to you when we receive payment in full. If a parcel goes missing in transit, that's our problem to resolve with the courier — see the shipping policy.
8. Returns and warranty
All returns and warranty claims are governed by our returns policy. In short: 14 days to change your mind, 30 days warranty on mechanical and electrical parts, body panels sold as described.
9. Fitting and use
We strongly recommend professional installation. KTS Autos is not liable for damage caused by incorrect fitment, modification of the part after delivery, or use of the part for anything other than its original intended purpose on a roadworthy vehicle.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the price you paid for the part. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of use of your vehicle, hire car costs, labour costs to fit and remove the part, or lost income.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
12. Events outside our control
We're not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control — courier strikes, severe weather, fire, flood, power outages, or similar. If something like that delays your order, we'll let you know and either work around it or refund you if it can't be resolved within a reasonable time.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
